Keeping up with Kate

So....

Nothing new to add really. Life is pretty repetitive in good ol' Oklahoma. The only thing I can say is that the weather has been really nice....(minus the constant 40 mph wind), but I wont complain because its WARM. FINALLY.

My partner Jessica and I have won 2 oral arguments so far. All 1L students are required to participate for at least the 1st round, and after that, it becomes a competition between everyone left. There are seven rounds, and we are slowly advancing. The both of us weren't too serious about it because of all the other things we have to do to get ready for finals, but now that we have started winning and doing well, I think we are both pretty excited about moving on. We have won for both parties (In moot court comps, you have to switch sides every other argument). This makes it hard, but you HAVE to know your stuff. In our last argument, we were judged by local attorneys and legal clerks, so its was extra nerve-wracking. I've worn more suits and heels this week than I have in a while!

I also joined a gym last week. I know its ridiculous that its taken me nearly a year in OKC to find one, but this girl has been BUSY. I wanted one with spinning classes and this one has over 3 a day-so it works out really well, plus they have a huge discount for law students. Double score.

Other than that, nothing new. Looking forward to TEXAS in about a month :)
