Hello Everyone!
I am FINALLY home and all settled in.
When I got home, I spent the week in College Station with Daniel. He has a job now, so I enjoyed getting his apartment all set up and playing desperate housewife for a week! On friday, we headed down the to valley together to celebrate the 4th of July with our families and had a great time.
For as long as I can remember (with the exception of last year because I was studying abroad)we have always spent the 4th at the beach. It is my favorite holiday because of this. We barbequed at the Francis' and then crossed the island and come to our condo to watch the fireworks together. Madeline and I made our annual flag cake and we had a great time catching up. The weather was suprisingly nice, even though a hurricane had just blown through. We had good food, were around great friends, and the boys even got to fish late last night.
I was sad this morning when everyone had to leave and Daniel had to head back to College Station for work tomorrow, but I am looking forward to spending a week here with my mom!
