So as of Friday, I am offically a resident of Oklahoma City. Daniel and my dad followed me up with a truckload of stuff and got to work fixing up my new house. (My cousin Jenkin's girlfriend Sara has a house that I am renting in OKC). I am so happy with it and it is so much nicer than I imagined.
All day Saturday, Daniel and Dad got to work on some minor things that needed fixing, and I got to work unpacking. I think we made a total of 5 trips to Lowe's that day, but in the end, everything looks great and I am so grateful for the help. We made a trip to Wal-Mart and got to see some interesting things. Apparently, I'm not allowed to shop here alone EVER. Just think: "people of wal-mart".... Daniel had a brilliant idea to build some shelves in my bathroom and after my dad installed them they were just what I needed.
I was really sad yesterday when Daniel had to leave. Obviously, this is a huge transition for the both of us and one that neither of us had been looking forward to, but I will see him soon for his sister Mindi's wedding in September, and I am really excited about that!
Today, Dad and I did alot of cleaning and alot of organizing things to be hung on the wall. It finally looks like my home now. I have a great office complete with a view of my backyard.
So far, Oklahoma City has been good. I have no idea where anything is but I am planning on doing some exploring this week before I have orientation on Saturday.
As I said last month, I am transitioning this blog from my "European Adventure Blog" to my "Oh my gosh I'm a Law Student Blog" I hope this will help everyone stay in touch with me all the way up here. I'm anticipating a rough couple of weeks as I get used to living alone, but am looking forward to doing what I came here for, and am ready for law school to start.
Come Visit! I have room!

P.S The preceding are pictures of my AMAZING help and my finished rooms!
Your place looks great! I can't wait to get there this weekend! I'm so glad you had all the wonderful help. That makes a huge difference to have the "handymen" - You have so many changes in your life, but I know you will meet and conquer each of them and thrive! I love you!!! xxoo
