Seattle!

Several months ago, my bestie and roomate from college and I booked tickets to visit her family in Seattle! Last week, the time was finally here, and we hopped on a plane in Houston and were off to Seattle. I enjoyed my trip so much and we had such a good time. Her parents took us practically all over the state of Washington and I cannot believe how beautiful it was. I can't wait to go back!

On the first day, we went to Salquamie falls, which are beautiful and so fun to hike around. Next, we went to a resort to have a glass of wine and also check out some more scenery...beautiful!

We went wine tasting at Chateau Ste Michelle (which happens to be one of my favorite Rieslings!) It was so neat to go through the entire winery and sample all sorts of yummy wines. We also went to another winery, but I can't remember what it was called :)

That night, we went to a famous restaurant in Seattle called Serious Pie. The chef has a cult following and they are famous for pairing strange ingredients on their pizza. It was really fun and I felt very adventurous with my dinner!

The next morning, we went to the famous Pike Street Market....you know, the one where they throw the fish? I got to see that, then bought some flowers for my lovely hosts, and got to see the FIRST Starbucks ever! I had a salted caramel mocha and it was yummy!

That night, Paul (Emily's stepdad) made Chopino (from ALL the seafood he bought at Pike Street Market). It was wonderful!

Other than that, we did a lot of relaxing, shopping, and hiking. It was a wonderful trip and I had an amazing time! I'll leave you with some pics of our trip!
