Vacay Recap

So the past 3 weeks were very good for me. For the first time in a little over a year, I DID NOTHING, and got to really enjoy some time with the people I most care about. It was really great!

The first couple of weeks, my mom and I got to enjoy our condo! We did a lot of exploring at the birding center, shopped in Brownsville, lounged on the beach, and made some yummy dinners. We mostly just enjoyed each others company. I was so glad that mom was able to take some time off work to spend this time with me. After this summer-we both needed a break.

The last week, Daniel took a week off from work. He really needed a break too, so I was so glad he could take the time to come down. We fished, relaxed on the beach, and had our fair share of pizza at D'Pizza Joint....our favorite place on the island (this is weird considering there is some yummy seafood close-by). We have been going there since high school, and they have the BEST pizza!

I have had some interesting developments in my job search, but I don't want to discuss them here until I have something a little more definitive to say. I am really excited about them though!
