After a long day in transit, we have finally made it to London. I already like London alot more that I did Dublin, and am excited to start exploring tomorrow. I am exhausted. Its amazing what a difference it makes when someone plans your trip for you. Last year when I studied abroad, everything was planned from meals to transportation to where we were going next. It is amazing how physically and mentally exhausting it is to have to plan for and navigate such large cities without any help. I will say that I am pretty proud of us for doing so well. We navigated a ferry, a four hour train ride, the tube in London, and walking at least a mile with all our luggage in search of our hostel.
I think now we are going to go to sleep early (its about 8pm) and have a fresh start tomorrow. I will probably wake up early and do a little bit of exploring on my own before everyone wakes up. The rest of the AESU group gets in around 4pm, and I must say, I am seriously looking forward to some planned meals and excursions and a HOTEL ROOM omg. These hostels are pretty rough. Its definitely an experience that I am glad I'm having, but I would take the comfort of a hotel any day over this. Luckily for me, the hotels begin tomorrow! This hostel doesn't have unlimited wi-fi like the one in Dublin did, and you have to pay for anything over 40 mins...so I'm going to make this quick.
Lucky for me, my genius boyfriend knows how to hyperlink things on this site since I am computer illiterate. So now thanks to Daniel, all you will have to do is click on a link to see my pics instead of copying and pasting it into the browser.
