After landing in London this morning at Heathrow Airport, we found Alex and immediately found a train station to get us to London. The entire trip took about seven hours and included 3 train connections and a two hour ferry from Wales to Dublin. I did not have cell phone service so I was unable to contact anyone since we left Detroit. As of right now, we have been travling for about 30 hours non-stop, are exhausted, and are about to shower and go to bed.
So far, the Irish have been so helpful and nice to 3 tired girls. Our hostel is tiny but it seems safe and everyone is nice, plus, they have free wi-fi. I will post longer tomorrow with more pictures. We are getting up early to have a tour of the Wicklow area of Ireland, which includes alot of the old countryside where Braveheart was filmed and my fave movie, PS. I love you
this is really hard to believe!! there you are where your great grandmother came from and your own grandmother is able to communicate with you!! miracles never cease!! hugs and kisses and take care of yourself. a few hours sleep now and then really help!
