Today was a fun day. This post will be short though since I'm waking up at 5am to head to Venice! I got to sleep in a little bit and then went to the pool, steamroom, and sauna that this awesome hotel has. We spent sometime down there before meeting our tour guide at the bus to head out to whitewater rafting location.
After about a 30 minute drive, we arrived, got our gear, and got a quick safety lesson. I had a blast! Whitewater rafting was so fun and we got to see the beautiful countryside of Austria while we were at it. We were rafting for about 2 hours, and we even had a chance to jump into the raging and FREEZING river at about the half way point. It was great. If there were rivers and whitewater rafting was a big deal in Texas, I would definitely do it more often.
After we got back, it was back to the pool, and then dinner. I have just showered and re-packed my suitcase for the upteenth time, and am about to go to sleep.
Tomorrow, we will be on the road all day, with only a night in Venice. I don't know the plans are but I'm sure we'll be busy!
I can blog more when we get to Venice...sorry this one was so boring and short!
