Last day on Poros

Today was our last day on the beautiful Greek Island of Poros. It's funny how free days seem to pass quicker than days with full plans.

Today began much like yesterday, with a quick breakfast and then it was out to the beach. We stayed there for about three hours until I was afraid my skin would fry, so I came to the hotel room for some lunch, did some laundry, and then it was back out to the beach.

Today I found some goggles washed up on shore so I did a little exploring on my own and got to see some pretty fish in the gorgeous blue water! Today wasn't as hot as yesterday, so I lasted a good couple of hours more before I went to the room, showered, packed for tomorrow, and rested.

Before I knew it, it was time to get ready for dinner. Since tonight was our last dinner, our tour guide had extra bedsheets sent to each of our rooms, and we were told to make togas out of them and wear them to dinner. This was great fun and we had a blast fashioning and trying to make them stay on.

After dinner, we all gathered by the pool at the other hotel and watched the Italy v. Paraguay game, and now I have walked to our hotel to blog, skype, and then get some sleep.

Tomorrow we take a luggage boat to a ferry that will take us in two hours to Athens. From here, we will have an all day city tour of the ruins, check into our hotel and have our "farewell" dinner. The tour group leaves that next morning for the states, so we will be saying our goodbyes tomorrow night.

Im hoping for internet tomorrow night so I can keep updating. Greece is beautiful and I am truly sad to move on.

Hope everyone is doing great :)
