One quick last post from Rome

I can't leave Rome without updating you on some of the beautiul pictures you can take at night. The first is of a monument at the Spanish Steps from a distance at sunset, and the second is of the Trevi fountain at night.

Last night around 10:00pm, Alex and I trekked one last time to the Trevi fountain because everyone we have spoken to said it was a must to see it at night. How right they were....the fountain was all lit up, and there were more people around taking pictures than during the day!

We had one last gelato while sitting on the steps in front of the fountain, and walked back home to our hotel.

This morning, we went to the Cappuchian Crypt(sp I'm sure). This is a crypt where monks are "laid" to rest....except for they are not really laying, but are sitting there dead for everyone to see. Their bones line the walls of the crypt and some skeletons are still dressed and looking at you as you walk by...It is pretty creepy and strange, but I'm glad I got to see it! SORRY, NO PICS ALLOWED IN THE CRYPT...

Right now, we are sitting in the lobby waiting for our taxi to take us to the airport...I'll post about our day as soon as I can :)

Have a great Tuesday..
