Quick Update from Frankfurt

Hello Everyone from Frankfurt!

After a very long journey yesterday, Evelyn picked us up at the train station around 11:30pm and took us to her flat. We were so exhausted and tired of traveling, so we talked to her for about an hour, and finally fell into bed.

After a terrifying taxi ride from our hotel in Rome, we arrived at the airport and checked in. I had some major issues with luggage and rude people at the check-in counter, but that can be for another post.

We landed two and a half hours later in Dusseldorf, hopped on a train, changed in Cologne, changed in Frankfurt again at another station, and finally were at the station where we were getting picked up!

This morning, we are going to see the stock market in Frankfurt, as well as a city tour led by Evelyn. Tonight, we are going to her grad school campus to watch the Germans play in the world cup.

Tommorrow, we will be headed to her families house outside of Regensburg for a traditional bbq and family time. We are excited because they have a large house, laundry, and lots of space to spread out! I am very excited to meet and spend time with her family.

I will update as soon as I can.

The above picture is of the train station in Cologne, I thought it looked neat.
